Stephen Simon can never pass a church without reading the music schedule and trying the door. With an hour before meeting a good friend at Peter Jones at Sloane Square we spotted the church. The door was open. Tables at the rear of the main were filled with cards from many, many charities, from cancer research to autism to animal rights. Beautiful cards! But, the surprises continued....
It was a bit incongruous, but the churches in Europe always have doubled as concert halls which means that music is everywhere.
